Background: Most people don't see how the media + culture are in control of who you are and what you want from life. The hidden messages behind "blow out sale" and "you need this because" are in control, telling you to consume and buy their product.Even with celebrities, these people are in control of what style of clothes are sold this season and instead of focusing on who you are, you are focusing on who you should try to be in order to be accepted into a culture controlled world.
