Background: my family is poor, but i refuse to not go to college. well, my dad is in a wee bit of trouble with the gov't and the IRS, so if i use his income tax to file for aid, the gov't will come after him. If he refuses me his income tax files, it means no aid, no college. my other option in emancipation. (aka moving out with legal documentation). i could then be applicable for financial aid. perhaps even more. i love my dad, but this could really crush him after my brother walking out on us years ago. What now?

Background: if the persoin you've been with for three years, ran off to another state taking over half of the money... to see another girl... and a concert... while you were pregnant and didnt even check on you for over 3 days... would you stay with him?

Background: I put this under current events because the Newports Vs. Marlboro Reds conflict is currently an event in my social life. One may be menthol and one may be regular, but that's not the god damn point! Some people can smoke both. And I don't mean like if you run out of Reds you'll have a Newport because that's all anyone is smoking or vice versa. I mean a person can sometimes purchase a pack of Marlboro Reds and other times a person will buy a pack of Newports. I just don't get it. Are you one or the other?
