| | Re: My fave painting | June 22, 2009, 10:42PM | I don't know, Paul. If I had any talent when it comes to painting or drawing, I'd do requests to earn some extra cash or something. Mozart composed symphonies for commission, as did nearly every successful Renaissance artist. Though I wouldn't put these on the same level, I don't see a big difference.
I will tell you that I find the Gary pop art to be a tad mundane and juvenile. But the chair is pretty cool for what it is. I'd let you paint my furniture as long as you stayed away from lighthouses and nautical themes.

| | Re: My fave painting | June 24, 2009, 8:49AM | lol. I hate the nautical stuff. Im more of a mythical person. The lady that asked for the lighthouse shelf had her whole house decorated that way! It was a very strange place to be. lol Gary was for a childs room. Ive done other things but they were picked up as I finished so I didnt get any pictures of them.
Price wise I tend to go with around $50. I know Im not te most amazing artist and I dont think I should charge people to do something I love so its just to cover the cost of paint and such. A few of my pieces have been auctioned off, one got $300. I was amused by this because personally I didnt care for it. lol

Eh. I would never write requests, nor compose requests.
I won't even write songs about girlfriends if they ask me to.
