I always nearly get killed everytime I tell someone that I loathe Shakespeare. I also only really like two of Poe's poems (and it isn't as much LIKE as respect for the technical quality), and two of his short stories. What books have you read of his? In the past, I've picked up a few of his other books while at the library, only to give up on them after reading the first couple of pages. Mind you, I haven't looked into him much since my senior year of high school - and I'm now a sophomore in college. I consider trying him again just about every time I see one of his books. Any recommendations? I feel like I'm missing out - so many people adore Vonnegut! (Eh, apologies for getting slightly off-topic here!)
